Nigeria's Flying Eagles, have been named among the top three seeded teams for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, alongside hosts Cote d'Ivoire and defending champions Senegal, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The seeding for the draw, which will take place at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday, has been announced.
Congo, Egypt, and Zambia will be in Pot 2, while Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, Sierra Leone, Kenya, South Africa, and Tanzania will occupy Pot 3.
The competition, which will be hosted by Cote d'Ivoire from April 26 to May 18, 2025, will feature 12 teams divided into three groups.
The top two teams in each group, along with the two best third-placed finishers, will advance to the quarter-finals.
