Sevilla head coach Garcia Pimienta has confirmed that Akor Adams won't be available for selection after picking up an injury during yesterday's training session in his pre-match conference today, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
Yesterday, the first team completed their penultimate session ahead of Sunday's game against FC Barcelona.
The LaLiga EA Sports matchday 23 fixture which is scheduled to take place at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán will not have in action Nigerian forward Akor Adams and Sambi Lokonga following injuries picked up during the session.
"A player getting injured is always bad news. Unfortunately, two of our boys picked up an injury right at the end of the session. I feel bad for them, Akor and Sambi have both strained a muscle. They will both be out for a few weeks, but the rest of the squad is looking good", Garcia stated.
Adams is expected to be in the stands to cheer his team on as they host the Catalan giant.
