William Troost-Ekong has revealed that teammate Victor Osimhen is an avid Chelsea fan and it has been his dream to play for the English Premier League outfit as rumors continue to mount around his long term future, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Victor Osimhen has been subject to interest from host of top clubs following his fallout with Napoli, Chelsea were tightly in the race for his acquisition in the summer but couldn't get a deal over the line, he moved to Galatasaray on loan but it's certain that a potential departure from Napoli is on the cards if the right offer comes in.
When on air with talkSPORT, the Super Eagles captain stated; “I can tell you he’s a Chelsea fan, I can confirm that".
“He’s a great teammate, in front of the goal he can be very greedy, but he’s someone who speaks up for the team in the changing room, he’s a real leader and I’m sure he’ll be captain soon.
“He always plays like it's his last game of football, chasing down every ball and going for every header.
“Everything that looks like it shouldn’t be a chance, he makes it a chance, I think he’s one of the most feared strikers to play against.”
Osimhen will be hoping to sort his long term future in the summer as he continues to do wonders while on loan at Galatasaray.
