Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has returned to Fenerbahçe, where he received a warm welcome from the club’s management, staff and supporters, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Nigerian forward Kingsley Eduwo has completed a return to Tunisia after joining Etoile Sportive du Sahel on a permanent transfer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 30-year-old striker returns to the Tunisian top flight after previous spells with two of the country’s biggest clubs, Espérance and Club Africain.

Eduwo made 71 appearances across his time with the two sides, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists.

Eduwo began his professional career in Nigeria with Gateway United before representing Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars.

Nigeria defensive midfielder Christian Chukwuka has joined Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel, completing a move on 20 September 2026.

The 29-year-old, who was born in Ekwulobia, is a right-footed midfielder and stands 1.80m tall. He joins Shabab Al-Sahel after a career that has included spells in Albania, Jordan and Cyprus.

Chukwuka’s previous recorded club move came in September 2025, when he joined Al-Aqaba Club. He had also represented the Jordanian side earlier in his career, returning to the club in March 2022 after a period without a team.

The midfielder began his recorded senior career with FK Bylis, joining the Albanian club in September 2016. He later moved to Gonyeli SK in 2018, before leaving the Cypriot side in 2020. His move from FK Bylis to Gonyeli SK was completed as a free transfer.

Chukwuka has also featured in Albanian domestic football. His recorded appearances include four matches in the Kupa e Shqiperise, with 313 minutes played. He has been listed primarily as a defensive midfielder throughout his career.

Nigeria defender Temple Emekayi has joined Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel from Rivers United, completing a move abroad on 20 September 2026.

The 28-year-old centre-back leaves the Nigerian top flight after more than seven years with Rivers United, where he established himself as a regular defender. Emekayi joined the Port Harcourt-based club in January 2019 and made 144 appearances in the Nigeria Professional Football League, contributing one assist.

Emekayi also brings continental experience to his new club. He played 13 times in the CAF Confederation Cup and made eight appearances in the CAF Champions League, alongside three NPFL play-off outings.

His time at Rivers United included a Nigerian championship triumph in the 2021-22 season. That title remains the major honour recorded during his senior career and provides the main competitive achievement from his spell in Nigeria before his move to Lebanon.

Born in Port Harcourt on 1 May 1998, Emekayi is a right-footed defender whose primary position is centre-back. His career has been built largely in Nigerian football, with Rivers United accounting for the available record of his senior club career.

Nigeria left winger Daniel Etor has joined Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel from Al-Shabab Club, completing his move on 20 September 2026.

The 33-year-old arrives in Lebanon after a spell with Al-Shabab Club and adds extensive experience from across African and Asian football to Shabab Al-Sahel’s squad. Etor is a left-footed attacker who can operate from the left side of the forward line.

Etor began his senior career in Nigeria, playing for Karamone FC, Supreme Court, ABS FC and Niger Tornadoes before moving to Akwa United on loan during the 2011-12 season. He later returned to Niger Tornadoes and subsequently joined Enyimba Aba, where he won the Nigerian championship in the 2014-15 season.

The winger moved from Enyimba Aba to Rangers in December 2016, before leaving Nigeria for Al-Nasr in 2017. His career then continued in Oman, where he represented Muscat Club, Al-Suwaiq, Al-Qasim SC, Sur SC, Sohar SC and Oman Club.

Etor’s record includes 71 appearances and 13 goals in the Nigerian Professional Football League, along with 41 appearances and 10 goals in the Jindal League. He has also featured in the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and AFC Cup qualifying rounds.

Before his latest move, Etor joined Al-Shabab Club from Bisha FC in February 2026. His previous transfers also included moves from Oman Club to Bisha FC and from Sohar SC to Oman Club.

Shabab Al-Sahel have now secured the services of an experienced Nigerian wide player with a career spanning domestic football in Nigeria, Oman, Iraq and the Gulf region. Etor’s arrival gives the Lebanese club another established option on the left flank as they prepare for the new campaign.

Nigeria centre-forward Edidiong Ezekiel Enobong has joined Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel from Enyimba Aba, completing a move from Nigeria’s top flight on 20 September 2026.

The 24-year-old leaves Enyimba after one season with the club, having arrived from Akwa United on 1 August 2025. His move takes him out of the Nigerian Professional Football League and into Lebanon’s top division, marking the latest step in a career spent largely in Nigerian domestic football.

Enobong has made 113 NPFL appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists. He has also featured in the NPFL play-offs, the CAF Confederation Cup and the CAF Champions League during his career.

The striker began his recorded club career with Ibom Youth FC before moving to Dakkada FC on loan in November 2021. He returned to Ibom Youth FC at the end of that loan spell, then joined Remo Stars in August 2022. Enobong made the switch to Akwa United in August 2023 on a free transfer before moving to Enyimba two years later.

Nigeria centre-forward Kingsley Eduwo has joined Tunisian club ES Sahel from Jordanian side Al-Ramtha SC, completing his latest move on 20 September 2026.

The 30-year-old Lagos-born striker returns to Tunisia after a brief spell in Jordan, having joined Al-Ramtha as a free agent on 7 September. His move to ES Sahel represents the latest step in a career that has taken him across clubs in Nigeria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan.

Eduwo began his senior career with Gateway United before moving to Sunshine Stars and then Lobi Stars. He left Lobi Stars for CS Sfaxien in January 2018 in a €205,000 transfer, establishing his career in North African football.

The forward later spent time on loan at Iraq’s Al-Najaf FC before returning to CS Sfaxien. He subsequently moved to Al-Orooba and then joined Esperance in January 2022 on a free transfer. During his time with Esperance, he was part of the squad that won the Tunisian league title in the 2021-22 season.

Nigeria centre-back Stephen Eze has joined Odisha FC from Jamshedpur FC, keeping the 32-year-old defender in the Indian Super League. Eze’s move was completed on 20 September 2026, and he has signed a contract with Odisha running until 31 May 2027.

The 1.98m defender arrives after two seasons with Jamshedpur. He joined the club from Vietnam’s Quang Nam FC on a free transfer in July 2024, having previously spent time without a club before moving to Vietnam in October 2023.

Nigeria midfielder David Emmanuel has joined C. Budejovice from Kladno on loan, moving to the Czech club on 19 September 2026.

The 19-year-old defensive midfielder has signed with C. Budejovice until 31 December 2026, when the loan is scheduled to end and he is due to return to Kladno. The move takes Emmanuel from the ChNL to the CFL.

Emmanuel is a right-footed midfielder who stands 1.85m tall. He joins C. Budejovice after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 season with Kladno, having moved to the club from FC Bayern II on 15 February 2026.

His time with Kladno followed a spell at Bayern’s reserve side. Emmanuel joined FC Bayern II after returning from a loan at Hessen Kassel, where he had spent the second half of the 2024-25 season. That loan move came after he joined Bayern’s Under-19 team from Global Academy in January 2025.

The switch to C. Budejovice is the latest move in a sequence of transfers that has taken Emmanuel through academy, reserve and senior football in three countries’ club systems. Nigeria centre-forward Daniel Aghahowa has joined Serbian club IMT Belgrad U19 from Usce U19 on a free transfer.

The 18-year-old completed the move on 18 September 2026 and will continue his development in the Omladinska liga, Serbia’s youth competition. Aghahowa was born in Lagos and represents the Nigerian nationality.

He arrives at IMT Belgrad U19 after making a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign with Usce’s youth side. The striker scored six goals in five Omladinska liga appearances, averaging a goal every 56 minutes across 338 minutes of action.

Aghahowa started 67% of the matches available to him and played 63% of the total minutes during that spell. His six goals represented 38% of his team’s goal involvement during his appearances, although he did not register an assist.

He joined Usce U19 on 15 August 2026, before moving across the same competition to IMT Belgrad U19. His earlier playing history includes a spell with Abia Warriors, whom he left in January 2025.

Dutch-Nigerian striker Nathan Hagebeek has joined Plataria from German club Sudstern Singen on a free transfer.

England-Nigerian winger Rio Ngumoha is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from Liverpool to Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Niger-Nigeria midfielder Hassane Adamou has joined Moroccan club RCA Zemamra from Gibraltar side St Joseph’s FC.

The 26-year-old central midfielder moves to the Botola Pro Inwi after spending the 2025-26 season with St Joseph’s, whom he joined from Spanish club CD Pozoblanco on a free transfer in July 2025. Adamou’s switch to RCA Zemamra was completed on 17 September 2026.

Born in Niamey, Adamou stands at 1.90m and is right-footed. His arrival gives RCA Zemamra an experienced midfield option with a career that has included clubs in Spain and Gibraltar.

Adamou began his recorded senior career with Giant Brillars before moving to CD Mirandes B in 2019. He subsequently played for Ourense, Atletico Sanluqueno and Burgos Promesas, all in Spain, before joining Lorca Deportiva in 2023.

Nigeria midfielder Garando Tekena has joined Enyimba Aba, strengthening the NPFL club’s options in central midfield ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Nigeria centre-forward Clinton Nwosu has joined Citizen from Bright Cerulean on a free transfer, completing his move to the Hong Kong First Division club on 16 September 2026.

The 29-year-old has switched clubs within Hong Kong’s second-tier competition after spending part of the 2025-26 campaign with Bright Cerulean. His arrival gives Citizen an experienced option in the centre-forward position as they begin the 2026-27 season.

England-Nigeria winger Rio Ngumoha is being linked with a move from Liverpool to Paris St-Germain. The 18-year-old left winger joined Liverpool’s first team from the club’s under-18 side in July 2025 and is contracted at Anfield until June 2028.

Nigeria midfielder Salem Adeyemi has joined Zebbug Rangers, returning to the Maltese club after a period without a club.

The 21-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. Adeyemi plays in midfield and officially began his new spell with Zebbug Rangers on 15 September 2026.

Adeyemi previously represented Zebbug Rangers after joining from FC Swieqi United on a free transfer in August 2024. He left the club in July 2025 and spent the following period without a club before completing his return.

His previous time with Zebbug Rangers included appearances in the Challenge League and its finals, as well as the Maltese FA Trophy. He recorded five appearances in the Challenge League finals and a further five in the league, while also making two appearances in the FA Trophy.

Adeyemi scored once in the Maltese FA Trophy, with his goal coming across 120 minutes of competition action. His recorded league appearances amounted to 62 minutes in the Challenge League and 126 minutes in the finals.

Before his first move to Malta, Adeyemi played for Ilaji FC in Nigeria. He joined FC Swieqi United from Ilaji FC in July 2024, also on a free transfer, before moving to Zebbug Rangers the following month.

The midfielder’s return gives Zebbug Rangers a player with previous experience of the club and of Maltese domestic football. His latest move also marks a second spell in the Challenge League after his earlier appearances in the competition and its finals.

Adeyemi remains registered as a Nigeria international by nationality, while his club career to date has included football in Nigeria and Malta. His return to Zebbug Rangers was completed on 15 September 2026, with the midfielder contracted through June 2027.
