The Nerazzurri are reviewing their goalkeeping options and have identified the Nigeria international as a possible target. Any move remains under consideration, with Inter yet to formalise their interest in the 27-year-old.

Okoye has become one of the most prominent goalkeepers in the Italian top flight since joining Udinese. He was named the club’s Player of the Season for the 2026/27 campaign after making 30 league appearances and recording 10 clean sheets.

The Nigeria international has played in six Serie A matches this season. He has conceded 13 goals during those appearances but remains an important part of the Udinese side, known as the Zebras.

Okoye’s form has placed him on the radar of the reigning Italian champions as Inter assess their options in goal. A move would represent a significant step for the goalkeeper, who arrived at Udinese from English Championship side Watford in 2023.

Inter could now decide whether to turn their interest into a formal approach during the January transfer window. Until then, Okoye remains with Udinese, where he continues to occupy a key role despite the club’s recent concerns over his performances.

The goalkeeper was among the players criticised after Udinese’s defeat by Torino, with the manager blaming Okoye and Bertola for the loss. His displays across the wider period, however, had already earned him the club’s award for the 2026/27 season and prompted interest from Inter.
