Juventus have begun discussions with Douglas Luiz’s representatives about extending the Brazil midfielder’s stay at the club, according to insider Nicolo Schira.

The Turin club have decided they want to continue working with the 27-year-old, whose current contract runs until the end of June 2029.
Douglas Luiz joined Juventus in the summer of 2024 after leaving Aston Villa. He has made six appearances for the Italian side this season but has yet to record a goal or an assist.

Juventus have collected 10 points from their first five Serie A matches and are seventh in the table.
