Following an outstanding performance in February, Gift Monday beat fierce competition from a host of top players to scoop the EA SPORTS Liga F best player of the month award, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The February Liga F Player of the Month award saw intense competition among top talents, including Graham Hansen, Alba Redondo, Ane Azkona, Ariadna Mingueza, Elba Vergés, and Ainhoa Marín. However, Gift Monday of Costa Adeje Tenerife ultimately prevailed.
The Nigerian attacker's impactful performances, featuring two goals in just 263 minutes of play against Sevilla FC and Valencia CF, proved decisive. Her contributions were vital in bolstering Tenerife's efforts, as they currently occupy 7th place with 31 points, aiming to close the six-point gap to secure European qualification.
With 10 goals in the domestic competition, making her the third top scorer in the F League, she would be presented with the award in the run-up to the Costa Adeje Tenerife - FC Barcelona match on Saturday.
