Cisse scored three times as Milan beat Red Bull Salzburg 4-0 on the second matchday of the Europa League league phase. He was named player of the match and became the youngest Italian to score a hat-trick in a major European club competition.

The forward joined Milan from Verona in January 2026, but remained on loan at Catanzaro until the summer. He has made an immediate impact since returning, scoring five goals in his first seven appearances for Milan this season.

Cisse’s current agreement runs until the summer of 2030 and includes a salary of 800,000 euros per season. Milan now want to improve those terms as part of their plans to secure the teenager’s long-term future.

The club are aiming to complete negotiations on a new contract before the end of 2026. Talks with Cisse’s representatives could begin as early as next week.
