Napoli' sporting director reveals key details on Victor Osimhen's release clause

SSC Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has revealed that the club is currently working on a permanent solution for Victor Osimhen who is due to return to the club this summer once his loan deal with Galatasaray expires, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Speaking to Sky Sport, Manna acknowledged the mutual desire for an exit as well as a host of top European clubs circling for his pursuit but the club wants to avoid a repeat of the situation last year. So, therefore, a decision is set to be made.

"Victor is always a hot topic, and not just in the transfer market. He is a desirable player, he has a clause, we know, and we are working to find a solution in the shortest time possible, precisely to avoid repeating what happened last year".

The club is aware of the concrete interest from Manchester United as well as interest from Saudi Arabia, ultimately, the final decision rests on the player who has been mute on his future as he focuses on the Super Lig title with Galatasaray.
