Edo Queens and Remo Stars continued their winning form from match day 1 of the Nigeria Women Football League after a win over Heartland Queens and Ekiti Queens respectively, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Goodness Osigwe scored a brace to hand the reigning league champions a consecutive victory at the Dan Ayam Stadium, Owerri.

Osigwe had put the visitors in front in the 40th minute of the game, but Monica Matthew leveled the scores for the hosts.

Osigwe ensured victory for Edo Queens with her third goal of the season in the 70th minute.

Remo Stars Ladies also secured their second three points of the season following their slim win over Ekiti Queens.

Olamide Bolaji's 52nd-minute effort was all the Sky Blue Stars Ladies needed to earn victory at the Remo Stars Stadium.
