Southampton Football Club has officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward Victor Udoh from Royal Antwerp, pending international clearance, beating the January transfer window deadline to complete the deal.
The 20-year-old has inked a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Saints and will initially join the club's Under-21 squad to continue his development, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
Udoh's move to St Mary's follows a period with Belgian top-flight team Antwerp, where he made 28 senior appearances after joining from Abuja-based Hypebuzz FC academy in 2023.
He also demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess with Royal Antwerp's reserve team, netting 12 goals in 21 appearances last season. Udoh will begin training with his new teammates once the necessary international clearance is finalized.
