Onyedika delighted with first Champions League goal

Club Brugge midfielder, Raphael Onyedika has expressed his excitement after scoring his first-ever UEFA Champions League goal against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Onyedika's strike proved to be a consolation as Brugge lost 3-1 to the Premier League giants on Wednesday night.

The Nigeria international struggled to contain his emotions after the match, telling flashscore "I don't know how to put it, but it's an amazing feeling to score my first goal in City's stadium. I'm so proud."

Onyedika also acknowledged that his side's mistakes proved costly, saying: "We knew it would be difficult after we conceded the first goal; they had more momentum and energy, so it was much more difficult for us because of our mistakes."
