Nigerian striker, Cyriel Dessers says Rangers can be thrilled with their passage into the knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Gers secured their spot in the next round with a 2-1 win over Union Saint-Gilloise at Ibrox on Thursday night, with Dessers providing an assist in the match.
Rangers finished eighth in the group stage, which means they avoided the playoffs and advanced automatically to the Round of 16.
"We are indeed eighth. I just heard it on the pitch. That is special because we skip a round," Dessers said after the game.

"This is an incredible club and the European evenings are special. It's really great."
