SAFA invite fans to back Bantwana against Nigeria

The South African Football Association (SAFA) has announced that admission to the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifier between Bantwana and Nigeria will be free, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The first leg of the second-round qualifying tie is scheduled to take place at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday.

"Come show your love and support the team in this crucial World Cup qualifier on Saturday," SAFA wrote on X.

Bantwana thrashed Gabon 21-2 on aggregate to secure their spot in the second round, while Nigeria, the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup bronze medallists, received a bye.

The reverse fixture will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on 15 March, with the winner on aggregate advancing to the third round of qualification.
