Barcelona are reluctant to part with defender Jules Kounde, despite reports that the France international could be sold in January.

The 27-year-old has lost his place in the Catalan club’s starting line-up, prompting speculation over his future. However, according to TEAMtalk, Barcelona head coach Hansi-Dieter Flick does not support the idea of allowing Kounde to leave.
Kounde is also not pushing for a move away from Barcelona, as previously reported by various sources.

Chelsea are interested in the defender, who is valued at €55m by Transfermarkt. Kounde’s current contract with Barcelona runs until the middle of 2030.
