The Nigerian international netted two goals in the match, taking his tally to three goals and two assists in his last four outings for the Cottagers.

Following the game, Iwobi spoke to Amazon Prime, sharing his ambition to become a consistent scorer for the team. He noted, "We wanted to get a win after our previous match against Spurs, and there was no better place to do it than at our own ground." Reflecting on his performance, he acknowledged, "I should be getting more goals, but it was important to contribute in this way."

Iwobi also highlighted the tactical approach Fulham used to exploit Brighton's playing style. "We know Brighton likes to play out from the back, and so do we. I was able to capitalize on their high press. We came up with a structure that worked for the first goal," he added.

On the team's attacking setup, Iwobi mentioned that Fulham had targeted scoring from set pieces, a strategy that had been effective for them last season, demonstrating their continued focus on making the most of every opportunity.

This performance underscores Iwobi's growing influence at Fulham, as he continues to be a key player for Marco Silva's side.
