Former Shooting Stars coach Fatai Amoo has praised Emmanuel Fernandez for his standout performance in Nigeria’s international friendly against Jordan national football team, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Rangers defender marked the occasion by scoring his first goal for the Super Eagles in their 2-2 draw on Tuesday, his second appearance for the senior national team after featuring against Iran national football team.
Reacting to the display, Amoo commended the young defender’s impact, highlighting his hunger and determination.
“I am impressed with the new boy, Fernandez. Scoring in his second appearance for the Super Eagles simply shows the hunger and determination in him,” Amoo said.
