Alvaro Arbeloa given two-match ultimatum as Fulham job comes under threat

Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa could be dismissed in the coming weeks, according to TEAMtalk.

The London club’s hierarchy has reportedly given the Spaniard two matches to change the team’s fortunes following the 2-1 defeat by Ipswich in the sixth round of the Premier League.

Arbeloa has been set a clear target of collecting at least four points from Fulham’s fixtures against Hull City and Coventry, the report says.

Intermediaries have already begun offering the club potential candidates to replace Arbeloa as head coach.

The 40-year-old took charge of Fulham last summer. After six rounds, the team have two points and sit at the bottom of the Premier League table.
