Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has again praised Pedri, who has repeatedly described the Spain international as his idol and a role model.
“I would be very happy to coach Pedri,” Iniesta said.
The 23-year-old has long spoken of his admiration for Iniesta and the influence the former Barcelona player has had on his career.
Iniesta took charge of United Arab Emirates club Gulf United in the summer. He made 674 appearances for Barcelona’s first team between 2001 and 2018 before ending his playing career in 2024.
