Nigeria international striker Tolu Arokodare maintained his impressive scoring form on Sunday, finding the net in Ajax’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Telstar in the Dutch Eredivisie, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Arokodare scored Ajax’s third goal in the 60th minute, registering his first league goal since joining the Amsterdam giants and extending his scoring streak to three consecutive matches.
Ajax opened the scoring in the 37th minute before Steven Berghuis doubled the advantage nine minutes into the second half.
Arokodare then got on the scoresheet on the hour mark, further strengthening Ajax’s grip on the encounter, before Marcos Leonardo completed the rout in the 78th minute.
The 25-year-old’s latest effort takes his tally to four goals in all competitions since joining Ajax on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.
Arokodare has now scored once in the Eredivisie and three times in the UEFA Conference League, underlining his strong start to life in the Netherlands.
