Comoros have announced a 22-player squad for their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying tie against Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The squad features three goalkeepers, five defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards as the island nation prepares for the crucial second-round encounter.
The two-legged tie will be played at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State, despite Comoros being listed as the home side for the opening fixture.
The first leg is scheduled for Friday, October 9, with Nigeria hosting the return encounter on Tuesday, October 13.
The Comoros delegation, comprising players and officials, is expected to arrive in Nigeria this weekend ahead of the two matches.
The Super Falcons will be looking to make home advantage count as they aim to secure progress to the next stage of the qualifying campaign.
The winner of the tie on aggregate will advance to the third round of the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers.
