Nigeria centre-forward Daniel Aghahowa has joined Serbian club IMT Belgrad U19 from Usce U19 on a free transfer.
The 18-year-old completed the move on 18 September 2026 and will continue his development in the Omladinska liga, Serbia’s youth competition. Aghahowa was born in Lagos and represents the Nigerian nationality.
He arrives at IMT Belgrad U19 after making a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign with Usce’s youth side. The striker scored six goals in five Omladinska liga appearances, averaging a goal every 56 minutes across 338 minutes of action.
Aghahowa started 67% of the matches available to him and played 63% of the total minutes during that spell. His six goals represented 38% of his team’s goal involvement during his appearances, although he did not register an assist.
He joined Usce U19 on 15 August 2026, before moving across the same competition to IMT Belgrad U19. His earlier playing history includes a spell with Abia Warriors, whom he left in January 2025.
The move gives IMT Belgrad U19 a centre-forward who has already made an immediate scoring impact at youth level this season. Aghahowa’s role is defined as a central attacking position, with his recent record providing the principal detail of his contribution before the switch.
The transfer was completed during the 2026-27 season, with both clubs competing in the Omladinska liga. No transfer fee was involved, and the move represents a change of club within Serbian youth football rather than a move between different countries or senior divisions.
Aghahowa has signed an agreement with IMT Belgrad U19 that runs until 30 June 2029.
