Barcelona manager Hans-Dieter Flick is planning to name Karim Adeyemi in the starting XI for Saturday’s La Liga home fixture against Getafe, according to Sport.
The eighth-round match in the Spanish championship is scheduled to kick off at 19:30 Moscow time.
Adeyemi, 24, is considered fresher than most of his Barcelona team-mates after missing Germany’s two most recent Nations League matches, against Serbia and Greece.
The forward joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund last summer. He has made eight appearances for the Catalan club since his move, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
However, Adeyemi has started only three of those matches.
