Atletico de Madrid forward Julian Alvarez has appointed Javier Pastore as his new agent.
The 26-year-old Argentina international has ended his professional relationship with Fernando Hidalgo, who previously represented him.
According to journalist Pedro Fullana, Pastore will now handle Alvarez’s interests. The 37-year-old former player represented Argentina and appeared for Paris Saint-Germain and Roma during his career.
Pastore also works with another high-profile Argentina international, Enzo Fernandez. Fernandez moved from Chelsea to Manchester City for 145m euros at the beginning of September.
Alvarez has previously been linked with a move to Barcelona. However, Atletico de Madrid reportedly refused to negotiate with the Catalan club, despite an offer of about 100m euros.
The forward has also been linked with Arsenal.
