The Ministry of Sports of Chad and the Chadian Football Federation are set to formalise a strategic partnership with LaLiga.
The agreement is intended to establish the foundations of a sustainable sporting system across the country. Its plans include ongoing training for local coaches, the modernisation of the national league and large-scale scouting campaigns to identify young talent in all of Chad’s provinces.
The partnership will also include an academic programme through LALIGA Business School. It will seek to prepare professionals for careers in the sports business sector and provide practical retraining opportunities for players nearing the end of their careers, both male and female.
Through the agreement, Chad aims to build a long-term structure for its sports industry and help a new generation of athletes and sporting leaders reach the international stage.
