Former Barcelona midfielder Cristian Tello believes winger Lamine Yamal would have found it difficult to secure a place in the club’s starting line-up in 2012.
Yamal has made eight appearances in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.
The 19-year-old’s contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2031. His market value is estimated at 220 million euros by Transfermarkt.
