Liverpool are prepared to consider offers for midfielder Wataru Endo during the January transfer window, while the club is already assessing potential reinforcements for its midfield, according to TEAMtalk.
The 33-year-old Japan international has not played a single minute in the Premier League this season. He was an unused substitute in each of Liverpool’s first four league matches and was also left out of the club’s Champions League squad.
Endo’s contract expires at the end of the season, meaning January will represent Liverpool’s final opportunity to receive a transfer fee for the midfielder. The club is therefore willing to listen to proposals for his departure when the window opens.
Liverpool are understood to be considering possible replacements as part of their planning for the second half of the campaign. One player reportedly under consideration is Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour, who could become an option for the club following Endo’s exit.
