Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 match against Lyon on Sunday, 25 October, could be postponed because of possible security concerns linked to mass protests in France.
The fixture, scheduled for the eighth round of the French championship, is currently awaiting a final decision from the authorities. The clubs are understood to be waiting for confirmation on whether the match can go ahead as planned, according to L’Equipe.
Lyon lead Ligue 1 after seven matches, having collected 14 points. PSG, managed by Luis Enrique, have the same number of points and sit fourth in the table.
The match could feature Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, who plays for the Parisian club.
