Former England striker Michael Owen criticised Marcus Rashford’s performance after Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham in the Premier League.
Owen also raised concerns about Rashford’s psychological state, saying: “It seems that he just doesn’t like playing football.”
Rashford returned to Manchester United this season following loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona. He has started four of the club’s five matches so far, but has yet to register a goal or assist.
The forward’s latest appearance came in the draw with Fulham, where Manchester United were unable to secure victory. Owen used the result to question Rashford’s current level of performance and attitude towards the game.
