Manchester United are considering Julian Nagelsmann among their leading candidates to become the club’s next head coach if Michael Carrick is dismissed.
Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that the German coach is one of the English club’s priority options. Nagelsmann is currently without a club and would be available to begin work immediately.
Nagelsmann is also open to continuing his career in the Premier League. His future is being monitored by RB Leipzig, who could try to appoint him if Martin Demichelis leaves his position.
