Nasarawa United head coach Mbwas Mangut says the club’s position in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table is a serious concern after a difficult opening to the season.
The Solid Miners are 16th in the standings after collecting just four points from their opening matches, with pressure building on the coaching staff to find a solution to the team’s poor run.

“If you look at the Log, it’s really something to get worried of,” Mangut admitted.
The manager’s comments reflected his concern that remaining near the bottom of the table could have wider consequences for the squad. He acknowledged that a difficult league position can affect players’ confidence while also disrupting the club’s longer-term ambitions.
