The Nigeria Premier Football League has moved the start of the Matchday 12 fixture between Kun Khalifat FC and Kano Pillars from 6pm to 4pm on Friday.
The league organisers announced the change but did not provide a reason for the revised kick-off time.
The match will be played at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, where Kun Khalifat FC will be seeking a response after losing 1-0 to Enyimba last week.
Kano Pillars, meanwhile, are aiming to make it four matches unbeaten as they look to continue their positive run in the NPFL.
Nine matches are scheduled to take place at venues across the country this weekend.
