Victor Osimhen is 10 goals away from becoming Galatasaray’s highest-scoring foreign player after continuing his prolific start with the Turkish club.
The Nigeria striker has scored 68 goals in 83 appearances in the yellow-and-red shirt, placing him ninth in Galatasaray’s all-time scoring rankings.
Osimhen strengthened his position during Monday night’s derby victory over Super Lig rivals Fenerbahce, scoring twice in the first half at Rams Park.
The 26-year-old’s scoring rate stands at 0.82 goals per match, the third-best average in Galatasaray’s history.
He is now closing in on former team-mate Mauro Icardi, who holds the club’s record for goals by a foreign player with 77.
Osimhen needs a further 10 goals to surpass Icardi and claim the record.
