French journalist Jean-Philippe Leclair of Challenges.fr has discussed reports that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to extend goalkeeper Matvey Safonov’s contract.
Leclair described the Russia international as the club’s “undisputed number one”, while also acknowledging that “there are certain doubts” surrounding the goalkeeper.
He shared his assessment in an exclusive interview with the online publication Euro-Football.Ru.
Safonov’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs until the summer of 2029.
