Spanish club Sevilla has rejected an offer from newly promoted Serie A side Venezia for Super Eagles striker Akor Adams, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
According to Transferfeed, Venezia submitted a bid worth less than €10 million for the Nigerian forward, but the proposal fell well below Sevilla's valuation.
The La Liga outfit is reportedly unwilling to sell Adams for that amount and is believed to value the 26-year-old between €20 million and €30 million following his impressive performances since arriving in Spain.
Adams joined Sevilla from French club Montpellier in January 2025 in a deal worth €6 million and has quickly developed into one of the club's key attacking players.
The Nigerian striker enjoyed an outstanding campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 appearances across all competitions to cement his place in the Andalusian side.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille also said to be keeping a close eye on his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite growing interest from across Europe, Sevilla remains in a strong negotiating position, with Adams still under contract at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán until 2029.
The Spanish side is expected to resist offers below their asking price as they look to retain one of their most influential attacking players unless a club is prepared to meet their valuation.
