Super Falcons Camp Swells to 26 Ahead of Comoros Olympic Qualifier

The Super Falcons have welcomed five more players into camp as preparations gather pace for their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying clash with Comoros, taking the number of players in camp to 26, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The latest arrivals were reported between Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, giving the technical crew a much stronger squad to work with ahead of the two-legged encounter.

Nigeria are scheduled to train on Wednesday and Thursday as they fine-tune their preparations for Friday’s first-leg meeting with Comoros at the Remo Stars Stadium.

The return leg will take place next Tuesday, with the Super Falcons hoping to secure a positive result in the opening game before heading into the second encounter.

The squad features a blend of experienced internationals based in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa, alongside key players from the Nigerian domestic league.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Jennifer Echegini, Toni Payne, Christy Ucheibe, Michelle Alozie, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Gift Monday and Uchenna Kanu are among the established names already in camp.
