Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, will take on either Sudan or Comoros in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, following the official draw released by the Confederation of African Football, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Sudan and Comoros are set to meet in the first round, with the winner advancing to face Nigeria in the next phase of the qualification series.
The second-round fixtures are scheduled to be played between October 5 and October 13, 2026, marking the Super Falcons’ entry point into the race for a place at the global showpiece.
As one of Africa’s most successful women’s national teams, the Super Falcons will be aiming to overcome their yet-to-be-confirmed opponents and take a significant step toward securing another Olympic appearance.
