Doma United coach Deji Ayeni says his team can quickly recover their lost points in the NPFL despite a disappointing run of results.
The Savanah Tigers are currently 10th in the league table, but Ayeni believes their position does not reflect the quality and potential within his squad.
Doma United have won one, drawn two and lost three of their past six league matches, a sequence that has left the coach frustrated.
Speaking to Completesports.com, Ayeni said his players were determined to begin another winning run.
“It’s so unfortunate we aren’t getting the results to take us higher,” Ayeni said. “However, we are doing everything to get back to winning ways.”
The coach believes a single positive result could provide the momentum needed to change the team’s fortunes.
“We just need that one key result to kickstart another positive run. I have absolute faith in these players to turn things around.”
