Nigerian forward Kingsley Eduwo has completed a return to Tunisia after joining Etoile Sportive du Sahel on a permanent transfer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 30-year-old striker returns to the Tunisian top flight after previous spells with two of the country’s biggest clubs, Espérance and Club Africain.
Eduwo made 71 appearances across his time with the two sides, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists.
His experience is expected to strengthen an Etoile du Sahel attack that will be looking for greater consistency after the club managed just one victory from their opening three matches of the season.
Eduwo began his professional career in Nigeria with Gateway United before representing Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars.
His performances earned him a move abroad in 2017 when he joined Tunisian club CS Sfaxien.
Since then, the experienced forward has continued his career across several countries, featuring in Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Algeria and Egypt.
Eduwo has also represented Nigeria at senior international level, earning two caps for the Super Eagles and scoring once.
His return to Tunisia now gives him another opportunity to make an impact in the country where he has previously enjoyed successful spells.
