Galatasaray earned their second Champions League group-stage victory with a 2-0 home win over Stuttgart at RAMS Park on Tuesday night, with Victor Osimhen completing the match as the Turkish champions maintained their strong start to the campaign.

Osimhen played all 90 minutes in the matchday-four fixture. The 27-year-old has scored once in three Champions League appearances for Galatasaray this season.

The decisive contribution came from Aleksey Batrakov, who scored twice in the opening stages to settle the contest.

Batrakov put the hosts ahead in the 12th minute before adding a second goal only three minutes later, giving Galatasaray a commanding advantage.

The result follows their previous Champions League success away against French side Lille and represents their second victory in the competition’s group stage.

Okan Buruk’s side will next welcome Aston Villa, with that Champions League fixture scheduled for Tuesday, November 24.
