Ex-Nigerian international, Emmanuel Amuneke believes Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen made the correct decision to remain at Galatasaray, despite interest from other top clubs, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen, who is on loan from Napoli, has been in impressive form for the Turkish Super League side, scoring 17 goals this season.
Amuneke praised Osimhen's choice, saying: "He has been warmly received and highly appreciated in Turkey, and he must acknowledge this with gratitude.
"He's been able to regain his full potential, thanks to the opportunity he was given after his falling out with the Napoli management."
Amuneke's comments suggest that Osimhen's decision to stay at Galatasaray has been beneficial for his career. It has allowed him to rediscover his form and confidence following a forgettable 2023/2024 season.
