Gabon defender Anthony Oyono has extended his Frosinone contract until 30 June 2029, with the Serie A club confirming the agreement on Instagram.
The 25-year-old right-back joined Frosinone from US Boulogne in January 2022 and has now secured a longer-term future with the Italian side. The renewal underlines the confidence the club’s directors have in the Gabon international.
Oyono played an important part in Frosinone’s promotion to Serie A last season. He made a valuable contribution in the league, scoring one goal and providing four assists as his team secured promotion.
He has continued to feature for the club this season, making seven appearances in all competitions and registering one assist.
The new agreement further strengthens Oyono’s position within Frosinone’s sporting plans. He is also an established member of the Gabon national team, having won 32 caps, and his market value is estimated at 2 million euros.
Frosinone’s next fixture will come in the seventh round of the Italian championship, when they face Sassuolo.
