AS FAR held by CO Korhogo in goalless CAF Confederation Cup first leg

AS FAR de Rabat and CO Korhogo were level at 0-0 at half-time in the first leg of their second preliminary round tie in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Neither side managed to break the deadlock during the opening 45 minutes at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium, with the Moroccan and Ivorian teams cancelling each other out.

AS FAR, finalists in the last African Champions League, will need to be more clinical after the interval if they are to take control of the tie.

The Moroccan club face a determined CO Korhogo side hoping to make the most of home advantage. AS FAR must find a way to create more in attack if they are to leave Cote d’Ivoire with a positive result.

CO Korhogo, meanwhile, will look to maintain their resistance and continue to unsettle their opponents. Both teams have the whole of the second half to change the scoreline before the return leg in Rabat on 25 October.
