Barcelona are planning to strengthen at left-back during the January transfer window, with RB Leipzig captain David Raum and Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell among the players being considered.
According to Diario SPORT, the Catalan club’s priority is to improve the left side of their defence. However, Barcelona’s main focus is on players whose contracts are approaching their expiry, allowing the club to negotiate a free transfer for the summer.
Raum and Mitchell have both yet to agree new contracts with their current clubs and are currently included on Barcelona’s shortlist.
Barcelona lead the La Liga table after collecting 21 points from their opening seven matches.
