FC Barcelona will put their unbeaten record and 100% start to the 2026/27 La Liga season on the line when they visit Sevilla FC on Saturday.
Hansi Flick’s side have won all six of their league matches, collecting 18 points and scoring 28 goals. Their latest result was a 7-2 victory over Racing Santander, while Levante were beaten 4-2 and Valencia lost 5-0.
Sevilla FC, fourth on 13 points, have also made a strong start. They have won four of their six matches, drawn one and lost one, and head into the fixture after victories over Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna.
The Andalusian club beat Valencia 1-0 at home before winning 1-0 away at Deportivo. Those results followed a 1-1 draw at Espanyol and a 3-1 defeat by Atletico. Sevilla have remained compact defensively and have been particularly effective in away matches.
The game will take place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday, 19 September 2026, with kick-off at 19:00 GMT.

Head-to-head record
Barcelona have the stronger historical record in the fixture, winning 119 of the 204 official meetings. Sevilla have 46 victories and there have been 39 draws.
Barcelona have scored 430 goals against Sevilla, who have found the net 250 times. Sevilla did, however, produce a notable surprise in October 2025 by winning 4-1 at home.
That remains their only victory in the clubs’ past 10 meetings. Barcelona have won eight of those matches, with one draw and one defeat.
Barcelona’s attacking form, led by the in-form Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, makes them favourites on the available assessment. Sevilla are expected to stay organised and could score, but the visitors’ pressing, transitions and greater attacking output are tipped to prove decisive.
The prediction is a 3-1 win for FC Barcelona. Listed odds are 10.00 for a Sevilla victory, 6.80 for a draw and 1.14 for a Barcelona win.
