Bayern Munich are monitoring Florian Wirtz’s situation at Liverpool and would like to bring the Germany international back to the Bundesliga, according to Teamtalk.
The 23-year-old joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported £116 million in the summer of 2025, but has so far struggled to justify the club-record investment.
Wirtz has scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 54 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool. He is yet to find the net this season.
Despite the forward’s difficulties, Liverpool have not lost faith in Wirtz and currently have no intention of ending his time at the club.
Bayern are understood to be keeping a close watch on developments and would be ready to make a move if Liverpool’s stance changes.
