Bayern Munich have confirmed that midfielder Luis Diaz suffered a hamstring injury during the 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Champions League.
A medical examination found that the 29-year-old has a small tear in the muscle fibres at the back of his left thigh, the German club said on their official website.
Bayern have not given a timescale for Diaz’s return to action.
The Colombia international came on during the second half of the match against the London club but was unable to complete the game. He was replaced in the 90th minute after picking up the injury.
The contest finished level at 2-2, with neither side able to claim victory.
