Bryan Mbeumo leads Manchester United attack as Como line-up is confirmed

Bryan Mbeumo has been named as Manchester United’s lone striker for their UEFA Champions League meeting with Como, while Noussair Mazraoui also starts for Michael Carrick’s side.

The Red Devils are seeking a response after losing their second-matchday fixture, with the kick-off less than an hour away. Amad Diallo and Carlos Baleba are both absent from Manchester United’s squad for the game.

Carrick has opted for a system featuring only one recognised forward, placing the responsibility for leading the attack on Cameroon international Mbeumo. Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount are expected to provide support and create opportunities behind him.

Manchester United will line up with four defenders, including Mazraoui and Harry Maguire. Senne Lammens starts in goal, while Matthijs de Ligt and Diogo Dalot complete the back four.
