AFAD, ASKO de Kara, CS Sfaxien and Singida Black Stars are among the clubs to advance to the second preliminary round of the 2026-27 CAF Confederation Cup after this weekend’s first-round second legs.
AFAD secured progress after drawing 2-2 with East End Lions, having been held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg. ASKO de Kara also went through despite losing the return match 1-0 to AS ZAM, following a 5-0 victory in the opening meeting.
CS Sfaxien overturned a first-leg deficit against Shooting Stars, winning 2-0 to progress on aggregate. Singida Black Stars were another convincing winner, beating Al-Ghazala 3-0.
The tie between Hafia FC and AS Douanes was not played on Friday, 11 September, after AS Douanes failed to appear. The CAF will decide what action to take under its regulations. The meeting between ASPAC FC and The Panthers is scheduled for 16 September.
