The group-stage draws for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup are scheduled to be held in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday, October 28, as qualified clubs prepare to discover their opponents for the next phase of the continental competitions, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The draws will determine the groups for both tournaments, setting the stage for the battle among Africa’s leading clubs for continental glory.
The CAF Champions League remains the continent’s premier club competition, bringing together top teams from different domestic leagues, while the Confederation Cup offers another opportunity for clubs to compete for silverware on the African stage.
The outcome of Wednesday’s draws will give participating teams a clearer picture of the challenges ahead as they begin preparations for their group-stage campaigns and seek to secure places in the knockout rounds.
Both competitions are organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
